Conclusion
Colour therapy has been practiced not only in Egypt but also
in India, since ancient times. This is a part of alternative
medicine but not very popular among the common public. Nowadays
mankind is moving towards holistic and herbal medicines because
of their attribute of almost no side effects. Hence this is
the right time to tell people about the importance of colour
therapy which not only has no side effects, but can be used
simultaneously with any other therapy. People should be made
aware of the effect of colours which they use everyday, on their
lives.
There is wide scope for herbal researchers to study the effect
of colours on the growth and physiology of plants, as almost
no work has been done in this department. The effect of colours
on the chemical constituents of plants could be studied. This
may facilitate benefits such as an increased yield, better quality
of crop, etc. and in turn benefit mankind.
